1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of truehome.ie, a website run by True Home Properties Limited ("we" or "us"), a company registered in Ireland (company number 811518). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. What this site is

truehome.ie tells you about our company and our software, and publishes free guides to buying, selling and renting a home in Ireland. It does not list properties, and we do not act as an estate agent, mortgage broker, solicitor or financial adviser.

3. The guides are general information, not advice

The guides explain how things generally work in Ireland. They are not financial, tax, legal, mortgage or investment advice, and they do not take your circumstances into account. Before you make a decision, speak to a qualified professional, such as a solicitor, a regulated mortgage broker, a tax adviser or your lender.

4. Accuracy

We base each guide on official sources, link to those sources, and show when the guide was last reviewed. Rules, rates and thresholds change, sometimes without notice, so a guide may not reflect the current position. Always check the linked official source before you rely on a figure. We do not guarantee that the site is complete, accurate or up to date.

5. Using our content

The content on this site, including the guides, text, graphics and logos, belongs to True Home Properties Limited or its licensors. You are welcome to read it, share links to it, and quote short extracts with a link back to the page. You may not copy or republish substantial parts of it, or present it as your own, without our written permission.

Search engines and AI services may index, summarise and cite our public pages. We ask that they link to the page they cite.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the site in a way that damages it or gets in the way of other people using it. For example, do not try to gain unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, or send automated traffic at a volume that affects the site.

8. Progressa

Progressa is a separate product of True Home Properties Limited, with its own terms at progressa.ie. These terms do not cover it.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Irish law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
