Terms of Service

Last updated: 18 May 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Truehome ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Platform.

2. About Truehome

Truehome is a property listing and search platform operating in the Republic of Ireland. The Platform allows users to list, search for, and enquire about residential properties for sale or rent. Truehome is not a real estate agent, broker, or auctioneer and does not participate in any property transactions.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features (listing properties, saving searches, contacting agents), you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

4. Property Listings

Users who list properties ("Advertisers") are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of their listings. Truehome does not verify the accuracy of listing information, including price, property condition, BER ratings, or availability. All listings must comply with Irish property advertising regulations, including PSRA requirements where applicable.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Platform without permission
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or its servers
  • Upload malicious code or content

6. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, logo, and software, is owned by Truehome. Listing content (descriptions, images) is owned by the respective Advertisers who grant Truehome a licence to display it on the Platform. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". Truehome makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy of listings, the reliability of the Platform, or its fitness for any particular purpose. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Irish law, Truehome shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. This includes, but is not limited to, damages resulting from property transactions, reliance on listing information, or service interruptions.

9. Account Termination

Truehome reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or are inactive for an extended period. You may delete your account at any time via your profile settings.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Bidding

Some listings accept online bids. Where bidding is enabled:

  • A bid you place is an offer to purchase at the stated amount and, once placed, cannot be withdrawn or amended through the Platform.
  • You must meet any eligibility or verification requirements set by the Advertiser or Truehome before bidding.
  • Being the highest bidder does not create a binding contract of sale — a sale is concluded only through the normal conveyancing process.
  • Truehome may suspend, reject or void any bid it reasonably believes to be fraudulent, mistaken, or in breach of these Terms.

Truehome is not a party to any sale and gives no warranty as to the conduct or outcome of a bidding process.

13. Subscriptions & Billing

Estate agents and branches may purchase a recurring subscription to access agent features. By subscribing:

  • You authorise our payment processor (Stripe) to charge the applicable fee at the start of each billing cycle until you cancel.
  • You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not refund the current billing cycle.
  • If a payment fails, your subscription enters a grace period during which agent features may be limited. Continued non-payment may result in suspension of your listings and account.
  • Prices may change on reasonable notice. The price in effect at the start of a billing cycle applies to that cycle.

14. AI-Generated Content

The Platform offers an AI-assisted search and information feature. Its responses are generated automatically by a third-party large language model and may be incomplete, out of date, or incorrect. AI output is provided for general guidance only — it is not financial, legal, mortgage, or property advice, and you should not rely on it when making a decision. Always verify property details with the Advertiser and seek independent professional advice. Truehome is not liable for any decision made in reliance on AI-generated content.

15. Third-Party Service Providers

The Platform relies on third-party service providers — including cloud hosting, payment processing, mapping, email delivery, calendar synchronisation, and an AI provider — to deliver its features. Where you use a feature that depends on such a provider, that use may also be subject to the provider's own terms. The processors involved and the data they receive are described in our Privacy Policy.
